mpd Mark Dolezel is an experienced individual in Surveying, Civil Engineering field and in computer technology.  Mark Dolezel has formal education in the field of Civil Engineering and has over 25 years of solid experience. Mark started McKim & Creed in the survey field then moved to the engineering field as a Senior Land Development Designer.

Responsible for all facets of residential subdivision design, commercial development, pump stations design and water treatment plant design. Mark has led and overseen many teams on large scaled projects. Mark became the “go-to” person for all AutoCAD, design software, engineering design and computer related questions and issues. Mark’s job evolved and slowly became the main IT person for the Engineering / Geomatics group for the Charlotte office and 5+ offices.

His engineering background and strong software and computer skills makes him a perfect fit to support design software, engineers and designers, and network systems.

Senior Land Development Engineer Designer
 

Experience with a range of civil engineering projects, including civil site design for commercial, single and multi-family residential facilities, institutional and municipal projects.

Civil site experience includes site layout, grading, erosion control, storm drainage, storm water management, roadway, water systems, sewer systems, pump stations, force mains, and subsurface wastewater disposal systems.

Experience with water and sanitary sewer system extensions, pump stations, force mains, directional drill, and streetscape improvements.

Mark has been the in charge of numerous civil site projects throughout North Carolina.

o Builds up SharePoint servers, sites, and manages corporate SharePoint technologies (current intranet) that are used for in-house communications along and client extranets for client communication. Maintains over 100+ in-house/client SharePoint sites.

Implemented and Manages 95%+ of all corporate web based applications and all websites internal or external.
o Implements technologies, designs, develops applications, and creates custom graphics/flash for all websites. Maintains and manages anything web related.

Surveying/Geomatics Experience

Survey CAD Technician
 

Over 3 years experience in the land surveying field. Initially as a party chief for one year, I was involved in all facets of field surveying, including, but not limited to: construction staking, both residential and roadway, profile and cross-sections of subdivision roads and utilities, boundary and lot surveys, topographical and tree surveys, slope staking for roads, control surveys, as-built surveys, deed research, ALTA/ACSM surveys, wetland surveys and route surveys for engineering design. .

As a survey CAD technician for two years, I was involved in the production of many different types of surveying, mapping and platting projects, including, but not limited to: high definition scanning, construction staking, residential and roadway, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys, wetland surveys, plan and profile surveys, as-built surveys, easement surveys, situation surveys, right of way acquisition surveys, and subdivision platting.

In addition to the normal day roles, the ability build up and setup servers, set up security (Active Directory) and work with email (MS Exchange) is necessary.
